My Story: By Jacob McBee, MFSC Founder
In a nutshell, I come from a family of hard workers with can-do attitudes who super-serve their customers.
My dad, Buddy, was a roofer/welder.
My uncle, CK, specialized in exterior renovations and remodeling.
My grandpa, Sixtus, was an all-around carpenter who did everything from ground-up new home builds to basic repairs.
As a kid, I was always a ‘helper’ and part-time worker in the family businesses. Then, I started working full-time in HVAC at 17, making a whopping $4.25/hr! I did the hot jobs, dirty jobs, and jobs the more seasoned techs didn’t want to do.
But… I REALLY enjoyed it. Why? Simple, I love the feeling of accomplishment and putting smiles on people’s faces. That’s a fact. And I’ve always been naturally driven to do better and set the bar as high as possible.
As time passed, I became a lead installer, then a technician, and moved quickly past others with more years of experience.
The “how” was easy. I asked myself at the beginning and end of every job….
“What can be done better?”
Then, I built on my answers every day.
This mentality and work ethic carried me through nearly every position in the industry. One day, after working as vice president and general manager of two of the largest service companies in the US for over 18 years, I made a decision. I purchased a small, 13-year-old established company, rebranded it, and rewrote all the processes. And alas, My Favorite Service Company (MFSC) was born.

The Truth Isn’t Always Easy
At MFSC, we always tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Sometimes, that means we don’t make a profit. And sometimes, that means we have to give customers unexpected news. We follow strict guidelines to ensure accuracy, and all findings/diagnostics are cloud-based. So, managers are constantly watching and verifying every step of the way.
We Look The Part
Our uniforms are clean and pressed, and our hygiene matches. But we don’t stop there. Every employee is identifiable as an MFSC representative. Everyone undergoes our vetting process and extensive and ongoing training. Most importantly, every specialist we send has a full “go-ahead” from me daily to do what’s best for YOU. It’s one of our rock-solid policies.
Attitude Really Is Everything
We know smiles are contagious. At the same time, our employees carry themselves at a higher level of professionalism than expected. You’ll find them in a happy disposition and eager to serve. Late nights, weekends, and/or the worst weather conditions we see here in South Central – we show up! And when we do, we’re smiling and prepared to get results.

We treat everyone with genuine R-E-S-P-E-C-T. We use multiple layers of protection to prevent damage to your home and belongings every step of the way. Your time is also valuable. This is why we offer a one-hour time window that we do our absolute best to abide by. Communication is part of respect, so we let you know well in advance if we’re running behind or late.
